Mandatory Vaccine Policy

Effective Friday 3 December 2021 all visitors to the hotel, including for Accommodation, Banquet and Events, Chuan Spa visitors or restaurant/bar patrons at Eight Restaurant, Chandelier Lounge or Our Land is Alive, must provide proof upon arrival of their COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Only fully vaccinated guests or guests who have an official medical exemption will be permitted entry into the hotel. Children over 12 years must be fully vaccinated, while children under 12 years do not need to be vaccinated if accompanied by fully vaccinated adults. You will need to provide proof that the child is under 12 years old. Evidence can be shown through your My Covid Record, which can be accessed through your My Health Account.
This vaccine mandate also includes all colleagues working at the hotel, in line with the government’s announcement of mandatory vaccination settings for the hospitality sector, under the new COVID-19 Protection Framework. Effective 1 December 2021, all staff working at Cordis Auckland will be fully vaccinated.

Please note that when you arrive at the hotel you will need to enter through the main Hotel Reception Area, where your vaccination certificate will be verified. All other entry points, including through the carpark or City Road, will be closed.  If you are entering the hotel in a group of 20 or more arriving together please let us know in advance, and we can arrange for you to come through an alternative entrance as one group.
If you are arriving via the carpark and have luggage, please ensure your luggage is left with concierge prior to parking, as entry is not available from the carpark lifts.


Valet parking is available at Cordis Auckland at NZ$45.00 per car per night (strictly standard-sized vehicles only).

In response to the New Zealand government’s recent announcement that all of New Zealand will move to traffic light Red at 11.59pm 23 January 2022, the MaDE Conference Executive have met and confirmed that the MaDE2022 Conference will not go ahead as scheduled on Tuesday 25 - Wednesday 26 January 2022.
